that one moment doesn't last forever
a few minutes, maybe
as the rising sun
begins to warm the ground
an aroma, infuses my senses
fresh & clean
from evaporating dew
or last night's rain that
soaked the ground, just enough
trying to pay attention to what's going on in the world around me
